#11: Short trip to New Zealand

On our way home to Australia, we stopped in New Zealand to see Mum and Dad Patterson for a few days.

#10: Cushions for Shauna and Kevin's couch

Shauna and Kevin have a second-hand couch that they are going to recover, so I made them big cushion covers which are reversible. These pictures don't show the true size because we had to stuff them with bed pillows.
I had some of each material left over so we made placemats to match!

#8: At the beach

Cold!!!...but what a beautiful day we had at the beach!
Ready for play in his gumboots!

Walking up sand dunes in gumboots isn't easy!

Afterward we went to Moe's for clam chowder to end a perfect day!

#7: Back in Albany - Duck Pond

From Ohio, I flew back to Oregon to spend the rest of the trip at Mom and Dad's house. Here we are at the duck pond...it took Rhys a little while to get interested, but then he wanted to chase them all over!

#6: Time at Arlen and Jessi's

After the wedding in Idaho, Shauna, Emilee and I travelled back to Ohio with the girls. It was lovely to have time with Arlen and Jessi at their house before Jessi passed away.

When it rains heavily, Lake Ramey forms at the dip in their section...the dogs love it!
The beautiful green hills and blue sky in Ohio
View of their house from the road...the hills behind their house is also theirs...80 acres
View looking up the hill....200 yards straight up!
Looking down the hill at the back of their house
Beautiful and peaceful forest behind their house...great for a walk if you can make it up the hill
I love this sign with Arlen's name on it!
Emilee and I tried to climb one of Arlen's deer stands...only got about 3 rungs up...
We decided that you had to have significantly bigger muscles than what we had to get up there...and being a bit taller wouldn't hurt either!

Jessi passed away about two weeks after I was there. I was so glad to have spent that time with her and Arlen and the girls and just enjoying where they live.
