A Saturday for Gardening

Eldon's green thumb is back in full force! For those of you who knew us in Papakura, you'll remember the awesome garden we had back then. Well....we aren't going so crazy here as it would take a lot of soil and a rotary hoe to make a difference to the dirt. Eldon has planted everything in pots; carrots, capsicum, cherry tomatoes, roma tomatoes, cucumber, pumpkin, watermelon, climbing beans, dwarf beans...hmmm what else? It's really fun to watch it grow...the beans have grown so fast! Hopefully if all is well, we'll have a nice little harvest in a few months.

Rhys "helping" put dirt in the pot...he ended up with cow manure and soil all over him...what fun!
Our pet lizard which hangs out by the compost
Finished product!

Awe, well it looks and sounds like things are getting really homey there :) Fun to have your mom there for so long! Thanks for the photos too. Love and big hugs, Em and Family!
