News of Jessi

This is just a short post to let you all know that my sister-in-law, Jessica Ramey, has passed away. She has been battling a rare and aggressive bile duct cancer for the past year. She died peacefully on Monday, May 17th at 10:30am with Arlen at her side. She was 30 years old. My heart is with Arlen and his three girls today as they accept that she has gone home and now must face a future without her. Funeral arrangements are still being made and I will post again when I know more. My parents and Shauna are on their way out to Ohio and Jessi's parents are already there. I was lucky enough to visit them just two weeks ago when I was in the states for Shauna's wedding, and even though I will not be able to make it back for the funeral, I feel privileged to have spent some time with Jessi before she died.

I know some of you have kept updated with the carepages Arlen and Jessi have written and all your thoughts and prayers have been much appreciated. Will let this be all for now. Sarah

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for letting us know the details about Jessica. Our hearts are soooo sad when we think of Arlen and the girls. That is wonderful you were able to spend some time with Jessica recently. We know our heavenly father is so thankful for another faithful life who gave her best to Him. It was very special to see you and Rhys again. He is a handsome little guy.

Love,
Roger and Edith

Sarah, I am crying helplessly but hope to get the words spelled right, or close enough so you know that we are thinking of your whole family <3 big sister hugs! Thankful for your great outlook on the past situation and most thankful GOD will never give us more than we can handle with his help... all your faith is encouraging even to those not so much in the middle of the situation..

Sarah ~ I've been thinking about all of you. Jessi was more than just a sister-in-law, she was a friend. I always admired how well she fit in with the Ramey family. So glad you had some time with her while you were here visiting and know you would be here now if you could. It will be a long journey ahead, but know that God will continue to keep. Love, Amy
