It sure was interesting to watch how these bees swarmed together in Mum and Dad's tree! The swarm was about the size of a large rugby ball. The beekeeper who came reckoned they were only resting and would probably move off eventually, but we got him to take them away anyway.


He basically just shook the swarm into the box hoping to get the queen in there and then the other bees will follow her

Freaky! I dislike bees. Glad the beekeeper was obliging to take them away!
that gives me the heebee-geebies. fascinating though.
Yeah...huge clump fo them:) shivers!
