Bee Swarm at Scenic Drive

It sure was interesting to watch how these bees swarmed together in Mum and Dad's tree! The swarm was about the size of a large rugby ball. The beekeeper who came reckoned they were only resting and would probably move off eventually, but we got him to take them away anyway.


He basically just shook the swarm into the box hoping to get the queen in there and then the other bees will follow her

Rhys loved Nanna and Granddad's little ambulance...he kept filling it up with flowers, leaves, snails....etc
We had one really cold night and we actually lit the fire! It was so nice! Here Eldon, Rhys and Granddad are enjoying sitting in front on it.
