A flying visit to South Padre Island on the gulf of Mexico for a few days between christmas and new years was a much needed visit to see the ocean again! The "island" is joined to the mainland by a big bridge. Had a lot of fun on the beach, dolphin watching in the gulf and swimming in the ocean( yes its winter, yes it was cold!) A stunning spot, wish i could take you all there.....

Rosalind and Sarah! This is Maria Greenway, now Maria Siegel. I didn't know you were in Texas Rosalind! We were just out there last year at Mountain Peak Convention! And Sarah I see your family quite a bit- Saginaw, etc. Fun to read your blog!!
