False Alarm

Well, 4 days overdue now...still hanging in there so to speak. :) Last Saturday we had a bit of a false alarm and we ended up in hospital being monitored for a couple of hours. Fortunately (or unfortunately) nothing came of it. Eldon said I would look back on these pics and be glad for the record...I suppose he is right but they aren't very complimentary!

In other exciting news....Mom and Dad arrive today in about 4 1/2 hours! Woo hoo!

I have been thinking about you lots and wondering how you are going (or otherwise!!). Fingers crossed for you that it doesn't go too much longer. Thrilled your parents arrive soon. Will be lovely to share it all with them :-)
The pics of you look fine ... (much better than I looked when I was on the monitor with Aaron believe me!)
All the best. Hugs from us. R & Co.

Been thinking about you lots too! Hope it's not too much longer. Like how about in 6 hours... so your folks will be there ;)
I will send Easy-Labour-Vibes and Baby-Out-Vibes.

Eldon is right - you will be glad of them even tho' you mightn't think they are flattering! (Believe me, they are heaps better than the ones of me after 2 epidurals and 5 bags of fluid. ICK!)

Come out and play baby!!!

Cheering you from afar...

Yes you're right, I do like to look at my pics of baby in tummy hooked up to all the monitors. Not long now, and you'll have a sweet baby to enjoy. Love you, Lenaya

Go Sara + Eldon GO! Waiting with the rest

Hi Sarah - I'm with you - can remember WAITING for a long time before Mitchell was born.

When I'm teaching now I always direct my ladys in waiting (and their menfolk) to familiarise themselves with the booklet on Accupuncture for labour and birth on the following website - http://acupuncture.rhizome.net.nz/. Check out the page on induction. So, seeing your Eldon isn't blogging he can work on some accupressure points to get it going.

All the best,
Sheena
